Dr Jack Tsonis completed his doctorate in 2013 at Macquarie University in Sydney. After tutoring in the areas of Sociology, Psychology, and European History, Dr Tsonis has taken up a position at Western Sydney University, teaching the Masters of Research Program. Tsonis’ wide range of research interests include; postcolonial theory, discourse analysis, micro and macro-level social theory, the politics of memory, and Saunatarianism. Dr Tsonis is the founder of the Global Sauntarian Movement and the founding president of the Australian Sweat Bathing Association (ASBA).
