Jade Hui is a nonbinary queer Master’s Student in Religion specializing in Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto, mainly focused on Buddhism, Daoism, and ancestor worship. They are interested in how Buddhism may be useful for Mad Studies, particularly in understanding psychosis. They are also interested in Hong Kong and Sinophone Studies.

Lauren Horn Griffin (PhD, University of California Santa Barbara) is assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Louisiana State University. Her research and teaching focus on religion, media, and technology. Her current project investigates discourses on tradition and modernity in Catholic communities around the globe.
