Rebecca Barrett-Fox is a scholar of American religion, with interests in hate and extremism, gender and sexuality, race, and rightwing politics and social movements. She is the author of God Hates: Westboro Baptist Church, American Nationalism, and the Religious Right (University Press of Kansas 2016) , as well as articles published in Contention, Humanity & Society, Youth & Society, Journal of Hate Studies, Thought & Action?, and elsewhere. She is passionate about the liberatory possibilities of online education and currently serves as the Visiting Coordinator of Online Education at Hesston College.
