Isaac Weiner

Isaac Weiner is associate professor of religious studies in the department of Comparative Studies at Ohio State University. He is the author of Religion Out Loud: Religious Sound, Public Space, and American Pluralism (NYU Press, 2014), co-editor with Joshua Dubler of Religion, Law, USA (NYU Press, 2019), and co-director with Amy DeRogatis of the American Religious Sounds Project, a collaborative digital initiative, supported by the Henry Luce Foundation, to document and interpret the diversity of American religious life by attending to its varied sonic cultures.
