Religious Studies Opportunities Digest – 5 June 2018

Welcome to the latest edition of The Religious Studies Project Opportunities Digest! This week you will find one publication, three conference calls for papers, one PhD jobs, and two symposium and seminars.

Be sure to check out the newest special issue of Implicit Religion. This special issues focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Religion. The journal features an article by our RSP editor Jonathan Tuckett entitled The Talos Principle: Philosophical and Religious Anthropology. The entire journal is available online to subscribers at: http://equinoxpub.com/IR .

We would also like to highlight the Nonreligion and Secularity Research Network email list serve. The NSRN has two mailing lists: the Announce and the Discuss. The Announce list is used to make announcements regarding the academic study of non-religion and secularity. The Discuss list is used to make enquiries and hold discussion related to the study of non-religion and secularity. More information about the mailing lists and sign up can be found at NSRN online.

As we approach the end of the RSP year, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are always looking to increase our pool of interviewers and respondents, or to receive suggestions for future podcasts, particularly in geographical regions which are underrepresented in our output, and on topics we have not yet covered. If you are interested, or have any suggestions, please get in touch via social media, or by emailing editors@religiousstudiesproject.com.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to support the RSP thus far through our Patreon–and PayPal options. We are aiming for 100 patrons (currently 21) to fund planned developments over the coming year. See our donations page for details of how you can sign up for a regular subscription, leave a one-off donation, advertise with us, or use our Amazon links.
